How To Fade Scars

If you are one of the few who have successfully healed your skin, there is the scarring to contend with.  These could remain on the skin for years.  All is not lost however.  You can successfully fade your scars using aloe vera gelly and French green Argiletz clay.

Aloe Vera Gelly is Known for Fading Scars

The method is simple:

1.  Clean your skin with an aloe-based cleanser or Dead Sea Salt water.

2.  Then apply aloe vera gelly to the scar and surrounding skin.

3.  To flatten the scar if it is raised, make a clay paste using 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of water and 2 oz of clay.  The idea is to mix the resulting paste til it is a creamy consistency.  Add more clay and water if the scar is on a larger area of skin.

4.  Apply the clay paste and leave on for half an hour or even better overnight.  To keep the clay moist and not mess up your  bedsheets, wrap the scarred area with cling film (saran wrap).

5.  Wear a T-shirt over the scarred area.  Or long leggings if on the legs.

6.  Rinse off in the morning.

N.B.  If the scars are on your face, only leave the clay paste on for 10 minutes or remove before it completely dries.

After a week of doing this routine, you should see a great reduction to the appearance of the scar.  However, if the scar is deep and ingrained, you will see a difference in a month.

The good thing about  this is that Argiletz clay, though fast-acting, is totally natural and gentle.  It is non-toxic and you can even drink the clay with water.

Make sure it is the green type though.  Argiletz sell different colours of clay, from pink to brown.  Only the Ultra-ventilated Green Argiletz clay is edible and used for detoxification purposes.

I found this to be very helpful as I do have some scares that I’ve had for some time that I would love to rid of. Awesome information very well articulated. However I w maybe would have added a pic or 2 of a before scare and then one acter the treatment.

      Hi Alex,

Unfortunately, the last time I had a flare up was in 2016 and I did not take any photos when I used the clay paste. I have just finished a course of clay paste on my Mother’s feet as they were really discoloured. Her feet are fine now and this was cleared up in 3 weeks.

I have suffered from eczema for more than 20 years and all the products that I recommend do as they say on the packet. I have talked with various alternative therapists and nutritionists as well as the founders of these companies and all the products are bonafide.

Which I cannot say for conventional medicine…that often have side effects.

Aloe Vera is wonderful for so many different things but I didn’t know it could heal scars!  What is French Green Argiletz Clay and how/why does it work?  I would love to know the science behind it, how it’s formed, or where it comes from.  I often use bentonite clay, both internally and externally, and i’m assuming French Green Argiletz is similar.

French Argiletz clay is sun-dried clay which has no additives or preservatives.  It takes away toxins (adsorbs) and nourishes the body at the same time.  New cells are formed to create new, healthy skin.

The book on clay by Raymond Dextreit is a best seller and tells you all about the different types of clay there are. There are many uses for clay and you can even use it to heal broken bones…It is almost miraculous…But then I suggest you buy the book and see for yourself…

I have used clay to get rid of my eczema scars on my back and legs, since the 1990s and my skin is almost perfect.  I am aging now, but I believe some Marine Collagen and plenty of oily fish, vegetables alongside body-building exercise will get my body feeling as if I was still only 40!

My daughter had to have skin grafts which left some very noticeable scars that are raised and hard. This is very good information and I will pass it along to her. She is pretty self-conscious about them so hopefully, this remedy can help her. Thanks for this information it was useful.

I’m glad you found this useful.  Fortunately French Argiletz clay is not expensive, so you can buy the 5kg bag which should last you at least 6 months…

Hi Stella, I am pleased to meet you. I am very happy to come across this post. Well, I am not sure how effective this is but I need this aloe vera gelly for my scars. I have noted that you provided how this is used and how it works. I need to try it. So, where do I get this aloe vera gelly? Pleased provide the details where I can buy it. Thanks for sharing

      Hello Koko…

You can get Forever Living Aloe Vera Gelly from any Forever Living Distributor…However, French Argiletz clay works faster within weeks…

It also works out cheaper in the long run…You can just use the aloe vera gelly to moisturise after treating with the clay paste.  Simply mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil with  a little water and mix with 4 tablespoons of the clay.  Use the white French Argiletz clay as it is for sensitive skin.

You want to get a thick creamy consistency when you mix it.  Simply apply on your skin, wrap with cling film, then apply a sock if it is on your legs, or a bandage if elsewhere on your body.  Go to sleep, then rinse off in the morning.

Repeat every day, til the scar disappears.

You can read more about this clay in my article “Argiletz Clay – It Works!”
